Jim Lewis Jim was one of astrology's most gifted teachers. Not only was he recognized for his clear, structured lecturing and teaching style, and capacity to make abstract concepts accessible, he was also recognized for his consummate devotion to the field of astrology. He was one of the founding members of AFAN as well as the originator of ASTROCARTOGRAPHY - a specialized system to identify the significance of one's "planetary power zones" on earth. ACG maps have been used by tens of thousands of people around the world since their introduction in 1976 to find success, love, personal fulfillment, and other psychological options. As an internationally recognized authority on this locational astrology, Jim lectured all over the world, in more than 14 countries and 20 states. His work on locational astrology earned him the Marc Edmund Jones Award in 1978 and since that time he appeared on the faculty of nearly all important astrological conferences. He was, of course, part of ISIS Institute's First International Cycles & Symbols Conference in 1990. At UAC'92, Jim was the recipient of the 1992 Regulus Award for Research and Innovation. Jim died in the Fall of 1994. The loss of his wit, intelligence, dedication and insight left a big hole in the astrological community.
